Our Aquaponics system will begin with some large mouth bass and trout fingerlings (small fish). The tank filtration will bring nutrients to the grow beds. The grow beds will consist of lettuces, broccoli, tomatoes, and other fresh greens.
We currently supply several local food pantries with fresh free-range eggs. However, next year we look forward to also sending fresh fish and vegetables to the pantries.
The water comes from our well, but the electric bill for the filtration and lighting comes from NYSEG. This is one way your donation helps out!
